About the role

We are looking for a Senior Javascript/Python Developer to join our Language Ecosystems team. This role will focus primarily on strengthening the JavaScript ecosystem, while also contributing to upgrades, migrations, and support for Java and Python environments. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in JavaScript tooling and modern frameworks, with solid experience in build systems and runtime upgrades.

What you will do

• Strengthen and evolve the JavaScript ecosystem by working with modern frameworks, tooling, and build systems;
• Contribute to upgrades, migrations, and ongoing support across JavaScript, Python, and Java environments;
• Ensure smooth dependency management and implement runtime upgrades to improve system stability;
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to language ecosystems and build infrastructure;
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional, distributed teams to deliver ecosystem improvements at scale;
• Document solutions, processes, and best practices to drive knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of strong professional experience with JavaScript and Python;
• Familiarity with build systems, dependency management, and ecosystem upgrades;
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams;
• Excellent communication and documentation skills;
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams;
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with Java frameworks and build tools (e.g., Spring Boot, Gradle) is a plus;
• Experience with Node and modern package managers (e.g., PNPM, npm, Yarn);
• Experience working with automated runtime updates.
