WPP Production is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to help build and maintain a mature design system and a suite of shared libraries used across multiple teams. You will collaborate with designers and engineers to define interactions and governance across repositories, and drive code quality and architectural decisions.

The role emphasizes accessibility, responsive design, and delivering pixel-perfect experiences.

Formación

• Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS-SASS, JavaScript and related web tools.
• Strong experience maintaining and extending large-scale libraries using Vanilla JavaScript.
• Proven track record building and maintaining a mature design system.
• Experience creating web experiences with global elements and shared libraries (video, analytics, gallery).
• Pixel-perfect implementation across browsers/devices and WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.

The Role

At WPP Production, Senior Front-End Developers deliver rich, immersive, and performant digital interactions that bring our clients' storytelling to life. You will help create sophisticated consumer experiences by building and maintaining a mature, large-scale design system and a proprietary ecosystem of shared libraries and global elements (headers, footers, media galleries, analytics wrappers) used by multiple independent development teams using advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Embedded in a hybrid US and Argentina team, you will manage interdependent code repositories, resolve cross-repository dependencies, and collaborate with designers and engineers to define interaction behaviors.

Role Requirements

• Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS-SASS, JavaScript, and associated web development/production tools.
• Strong experience maintaining and extending libraries using Vanilla JavaScript
• Proven experience using, actively building, and maintaining a mature, large-scale design system.
• Experience developing website global elements and custom shared libraries - video , analytics, gallery
• Experience building web experiences fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA
• Experience with templates and task automation including handlebars, NPM, Gulp and Vite
• Advanced knowledge of responsive web design
• Experience with translating comps and wireframes into flexible and usable code
• Experience implementing pixel perfect designs across a broad range of browsers and devices
• Experience using version control software (git) in multi-developer team
• Experience with developing large customer-facing websites

• 5+ years’ experience working as a front-end developer
• Desire to assist, guide and coach more junior team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate technical concepts to clients and non-technical colleagues
• Experience with web application development

• Relentless attention to detail
• A passion for quality, receptive to feedback, and a desire to write code that produces a bug-free user experience
