WPP Production is seeking a Freelance Production Designer with strong composition and layout skills for print and digital. You will work on high-profile campaigns with global clients, ensuring accurate timelines, files, and deliverables across multiple channels.

Applicants should possess 3+ years in a similar role, expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat, and fluency in English.

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience with regional project brand guideline alignment.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate between departments verbally and in writing.
• Check design concepts against all backup information to ensure accuracy.
• Knowledge of publication and portal requirements for assets.
• Prepare documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics.
• Ensure deadlines for submitting assets to Creative Operations are met.
• Collaborate with Studio Manager and other Production Designers.
• Communicate with offshore teams including Client Leads and Project Managers.
• Work in InDesign and Photoshop to create and adapt layouts and layer comps.
• Image retouching, clipping paths, and art manipulation.
• Maintain meticulous quality standards.

The Role

We’re looking to hire a Freelance Production Designer with strong composition and layout skills for print and digital, strict attention to detail, as well as exceptional organizational, project, and file management are a must. Experienced in turning jobs around in a timely fashion. This position has the chance to work with major global clients on large marketing and advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Communicate between departments verbally and in writing.
• Check design concepts against all backup information to ensure all correct information is contained and accounted for.
• Knowledge of various publication and portal requirements.
• Prepares documentation, maintains records, and coordinates logistics for material shipment.
• Ensure that deadlines for submitting various assets to Creative Operations team are met.
• Collaborating closely with Studio Manager and other Production Designers. Must be team oriented and comfortable working closely with others.
• Able to communicate with offshore teams including Client Leads, Art Directors, Project Managers and more.
• Work in InDesign and Photoshop to create and adapt layouts and layer comps.
• Image retouching, clipping paths, and art manipulation.
• Maintain meticulous quality standards.

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat
• Knowledge or understanding of Figma and Workfront preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in design - work experience may suffice in the absence of a degree.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience with regional project brand guideline alignment.
• Ability to work in US hours (Eastern Standard Time)
• Experience working in Print Design as well as Email, Social Media, Out of Home and other types of assets.
