FP&A LATAM Manager Job Description

In this role you’ll lead the financial planning and analysis process. Develop P&L and cashflow projections, track progress against targets, analyze trends and provide recommendations to address gaps. Lead the LATAM Leadership Team monthly meeting agenda. This role acts as a key partner to LATAM Enterprise Markets CFO in achieving priorities and targets, which includes not only suggesting actions & priorities, but also coordinating across key LATAM stakeholders to ensure execution.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process:
    • Define key dates & activities, including but not limited to S&OP (Sales and Operations) process
    • Create templates for sub-regions to present key topics to LATAM’s Ledearship Team
    • Lead process to articulate LATAM´s story in all touchpoints with the Enterprise Markets Ledearship Team
  • Develop P&L (profit and losses) and cashflow projections:
    • Coordinate bottom-up process & ensure multi-factional teams deliver inputs on time
    • Sense check bottom-up build & propose adjustments to ensure a strong submission
  • Analyze trends and provide recommendations to address gaps:
    • Support ad hoc financial analyses (e.g., unprofitable SKUs) and projects (e.g., study feasibility of a potential market exit)
    • Develop a broad-based & detailed understanding of the underlying business performance trends and external market dynamics
    • Leverage these insights to provide analytical recommendations that help decision makers drive optimal business transformation and results
  • Act as a key partner to LATAM CFO in achieving priorities & targets:
    • Influence LATAM Ledearship Team & cluster/country Ledearship Team to ensure appropriate focus and action on LATAM make-or-break Plan levers
    • Create reports and automated dashboards to facilitate this process

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • +10 years experience in Finance: FP&A, Finance Manager, Business Partner for commercial
  • English fluent level
  • Strong Ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and change management skills. Align multiple teams and Stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to dive into large quantities of data and extract meaningful insights, identify trends and potential gaps
  • Strong understanding of business issues faced by Kimberly-Clark, and mission / goals
  • Strong integrity and ability to build trust within the organization
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, communication and coaching skills, with understanding of how to navigate Kimberly-Clark’s systems, tools and organization
  • Comfortable in learning new systems and new ways of thinking. Leverages Global/regional scale
