Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis for its FMCG operations. You will provide insights to management, monitor performance, identify trends and contribute to strategic planning.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and at least 4 years in financial analysis, with strong Excel skills and experience in SAP/Oracle/Hyperion. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
CFA or CA(SA) certification is a plus.
Minimum 4 years of financial analysis experience; FMCG preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and explanations.
Prepare regular financial reports, presentations and dashboards for senior management.
Conduct analyses on initiatives like new product launches and market expansions.
Support ad-hoc financial analyses and assist with statutory reporting.
