Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Argentina is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive firewall infrastructure design, implementation, and operational excellence within the Infrastructure Platform (IP). You will apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and processes across the infra discipline.

The role requires hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto and Checkpoint, strong TCP/IP skills, and scripting with Python, Ansible, Terraform, and JSON.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of firewall and network security design and implementation in a large enterprise.
• Experience with DMZ and boundary network architectures.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and routing concepts.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform, and JSON scripting.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Engineering and implementation of the firewall infrastructure
• Hands on experience with firewall platforms Fortinet, Palo Alto and Checkpoint
• Develop and maintain scripts for device pave/repave and automatize day to day tasks
• Develop engineering standards and artifacts for certified products
• Develop implementation and operational documentations

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 5+years of firewall and network security design, engineering and implementation experience within a large enterprise environment
• Knowledge and experience on DMZ and other boundary network architecture
• In-depth knowledge TCP/IP and routing
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting/DevOps languages: Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSON
• Understanding of micro-services, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, APIs
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience with network security technologies such as proxy and load balancer
• Experience working with Agile methodologies like Kanban & Scrum
