Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Infrastructure Support professional to contribute to firewall rule implementations, change management, and automation in a global banking technology environment.

The role emphasizes scripting skills (Python) and API-driven integrations, within a fast-paced, client-focused team. Ideal candidates have experience in Linux, firewall technologies (Fortinet/Checkpoint/Palo Alto), and tools like Splunk, with a strong understanding of networking fundamentals and risk

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in production and infrastructure support.
• Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met.
• Executes within a customer-centric environment.
• Strong experience in firewall, firewall policies and firewall manager operation (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto).
• Experience in Firewall orchestrator tools (such as Tufin).
• Experience in log analysis tools (Splunk).
• Ability to use scripting languages such as Python, or other object oriented language like Ansible, C++, Java, etc.
• Experience working with APIs to integrate and automate network and security solutions.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Experience working in a banking, exchange or technology type environment within a global organization.
• Expertise of networking fundamentals including: Network topology, VLANs, Routing, Switching, Global/Local Load Balancing and Firewalls.
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
• Strong work ethic in a mission-critical 24x7 diverse environment with multiple vendor/customer relationships.
• Must be flexible, hands on and able to work in a fast paced, high pressure, client-focused and collaborative environment.
