PwC Argentina is seeking an Experienced Associate Data Protection at the Acceleration Center Buenos Aires. You will specialize in privacy laws, assist with policy development, impact assessments, and safeguarding personal information across client engagements.

You will work with Cyber, Data & Tech Risk within the Office of General Counsel, engaging with global teams to build privacy programs, perform risk analyses, and support regulatory compliance initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required

As an Experienced Associate Data Protection, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will help businesses navigate the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Working in this area, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires, you will be part of our Cyber, Data & Tech Risk network within our Office of General Counsel (OGC) practice. You will engage in research, participate in project tasks, and develop basic skills and knowledge. You will also respond effectively to the diverse perspectives, needs, and feelings of others, using a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation and ongoing optimization of data protection technologies and solutions (e.g., data classification, encryption, Data Loss Prevention such as Microsoft Purview Information Protection) to help manage sensitive data risks across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments
• Implementing and supporting data discovery, classification, and risk analysis using DSPM and data security platforms (e.g., Cyera, Varonis), including cloud data visibility, access governance, and identification of sensitive data exposure, with hands-on experience in privacy and data governance platforms (e.g., OneTrust, Securiti AI, BigID, Collibra or similar)
• Contributing to incident response and data protection governance activities, including supporting data breach assessments, collaborating with legal/privacy/security teams, and assessing and mitigating data protection risks arising from GenAI developer tools, as well as assisting in the development and maintenance of data protection policies, procedures, and secure-by-design controls (e.g., DLP configuration and Copilot Studio governance)
• Providing strategic guidance on privacy laws and data protection regulations to clients
• Assisting in the development and implementation of privacy policies and data protection measures
• Conducting privacy impact assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Navigating complex privacy and data protection requirements to confirm compliance with applicable laws
• Collaborating with clients to develop comprehensive privacy programs and strategies
• Analyzing data protection needs and recommending appropriate solutions
• Supporting client engagements by delivering quality work and maintaining compliance with regulations
• Engaging in continuous learning to enhance knowledge of privacy and data protection standards
• Utilizing cybersecurity and privacy skills to address data breach and information security challenges
• Participating in the review and management of legal documents related to data protection and privacy compliance

What You Must Have

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk)
• Solid understanding of data security, privacy, and cloud risk concepts
• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• Hands-on or implementation experience with Cyera (DSPM) and/or Varonis
• Experience supporting GenAI security or AI governance initiatives
• Automation experience using Power Automate or similar tools
• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Law, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Statistics, Systems Engineering
