Pfizer Inc in Buenos Aires is seeking an environmental program assistant to develop, implement, and maintain a waste segregation program at the Buenos Aires plant. The role involves audits, SOPs, and waste fate classification in line with Pfizer standards and local laws.

The position is 100% on-site at the plant, requiring strong organization, communication, and teamwork, with enrollment in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science and proficiency in MS Office.

Competenze

• High School Diploma is required.
• Active enrollment and completion of the second year in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Intermediate English language skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team.

Mansioni

• Perform audits at site to identify different waste streams generated in the different areas.
• Develop and implement standards operative procedures and controls for different waste streams segregation, handling and transitory storage.
• Classify and define waste fates according Pfizer standards and local legal requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and implement waste reduction initiatives to reduce Waste score metric.
• Identify and evaluate new waste treatments technologies and suppliers.
• Evaluate site´s waste legal requirements compliance.
• Engage with local Pfizer stakeholders by developing waste segregation and reduction awareness materials and initiatives.
