Job summary

Pfizer Argentina is seeking an Environmental Internship to help develop, implement, and maintain a waste segregation program at the Buenos Aires plant. The role is 100% on-site and part of the Global Business Services environment that supports patient care.

You will perform site audits, help create standard operating procedures for waste streams, classify waste, and ensure regulatory compliance while engaging with cross-functional teams. Strong English and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active enrollment and completion of the second year in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Intermediate English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain waste segregation program at the Buenos Aires plant.
• Perform audits at site to identify different waste streams across areas.
• Develop SOPs and controls for segregation, handling and temporary storage.
• Classify waste fates according to Pfizer standards and local requirements.
• Identify and evaluate waste reduction opportunities and engage stakeholders.
