PMI is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to drive compliance and sustainability across our Buenos Aires operations. You will lead ISO 14001 programs, regulatory alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce emissions and resource use.

The role requires strong leadership, English proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing teams. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site presence in Merlo, Buenos Aires, and remote coordination with global sustainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Sustainability, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental management experience in manufacturing.
• Proven ISO 14001 implementation and sustainability program experience.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, permitting, risk management.
• Leadership in environmental improvement initiatives and programs.
• Advanced English proficiency and MS Office skills.
• Experience with AWS, Climate Action, Circularity, or decarbonization is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Ensure environmental compliance with regulations, permits, PMI standards, and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Lead sustainability programs including AWS, Climate Action, Carbon Management, Circularity, and Resource Efficiency.
• Drive water stewardship, waste reduction, energy efficiency, decarbonization, and emissions reduction initiatives.
• Monitor environmental performance, identify risks, and support continuous improvement.
• Conduct environmental assessments, audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Deliver training and technical guidance to strengthen environmental culture and accountability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance sustainability priorities and business resilience.
• Serve as environmental SME for manufacturing and support functions.
