A leading mining company is seeking a Senior Environmental and Social Studies Lead based in Salta, Argentina. This role involves leading environmental compliance studies aligned with international standards, reviewing assessments, and engaging with local communities. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in environmental management, with fluency in Spanish and knowledge of the mining industry. This is a two-year fixed-term appointment with travel requirements.

Role Overview
We are seeking to appoint a senior professional to lead a study aimed at aligning environmental and social practices of a potential future large-scale mining operation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards and Equator Principles (EP4). The study will provide clear pathways to meet all requirements of these standards.This is a two-year fixed-term appointment with an opportunity to extend, based in Salta, Argentina wich involves regular travels to the project site and surrounding project areas.
