JPMorganChase within the EMEA Last Mile Regulatory Reporting team in Corporate Technology is hiring a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a team of software engineers and oversee day-to-day delivery, ensuring alignment with compliance standards, business requirements and tactical best practices.

You will guide the team, set output expectations, manage dependencies with other teams, and maintain strong stakeholder relations while building scalable, reliable software.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years' experience.
• Experience leading technology projects.
• Experience managing technologists.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing and operational stability.
• Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s) – databases, Python etc.
• Practical cloud native experience – AWS/Databricks.

Responsabilidades

• Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
• Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
• Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation
