Job summary

JPMorganChase in Buenos Aires seeks a Manager of Software Engineering to guide multiple teams within the EMEA Last Mile Regulatory Reporting group. You will lead software engineers, manage day-to-day delivery, and ensure compliance with business requirements and best practices.

You will drive software design, development, testing, and operational stability while mentoring engineers, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and fostering diversity and inclusion across the team.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience leading technology projects.
• Experience managing technologists.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s) – databases, Python etc.
• Practical cloud native experience – experience with AWS/Databricks
