AgileEngine is seeking an Elixir Engineer to build and maintain a growing software platform as an embedded member of a small team. You will work across various areas of the application, collaborating with product managers to translate user problems into technical solutions.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, strong Elixir/Erlang skills, and a solid PostgreSQL background. Flexible work options exist to accommodate collaboration with the Austin team and possible US travel.

Formación

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Elixir and/or Erlang.
• Experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Ability to own and deliver engineering tasks with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and improve the software platform using Elixir.
• Work across different areas of the application as part of a small engineering team.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate user problems into technical solutions.
• Take ownership of development work from requirements through delivery.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external services and APIs.
• Write reliable, well-tested production code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application.
