Job summary

Bechtel in Argentina seeks a professional to manage environmental and sectoral permits supporting project execution. You will ensure compliance with national and provincial regulations, translate requirements into design criteria, and align permit routes with project schedules.

The role acts as a bridge between engineering and regulatory authorities, maintaining timely flow of information and coordinating with project teams to meet client and regulatory commitments.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
• Proven High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage the obtaining, maintenance and monitoring of environmental and sectoral permits that enable the execution of the project in Argentina.
• Ensure engineering design, constructive planning and field activities comply with applicable regulations.
• Translate legal requirements into verifiable design criteria and maintain permit route aligned with project schedule.
