An established industry player is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves managing daily logistics tasks, ensuring accuracy in shipments, and leading performance meetings. OBJECTIVE: Coordinate and support the daily work. Overview of the order/task situation, focusing on containment and corrective actions during order/task execution time frame.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION (outline job duties and responsibilities):
Examine shipment contents and compare with packing list and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
Receiving shipment data in system and note any damages or discrepancies.
Review, plan, coordinate, and support the daily work of the department with a continuous focus on our ALPS priorities – Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Drive daily ALPS Performance Meetings and weekly Improvement Meetings in the dept.
Run the daily shift startup/handover meetings.
Participate in projects and improvement initiatives.
Participate in all aspects of the Problem Resolution Process to help determine the root causes of problems and create sustainable solutions.
Provide departmental training and work as needed.
Write and audit SOPs as required, and drive improvements to the processes.
Own the warehouse and all inbound/outbound activities with coordination with the production team.
Manage inventory both onsite and offsite with Cycle/Spot counting, documentation management, and communication with offsite storage suppliers.
Perform incoming material inspections.
Process Return Material Authorization (RMA’s) and Material Return Authorization (MRA’s).
Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s).
Investigate claims and support resolution.
Serve as liaison between the dept., support functions, and Team Manager.
Ability to multi-task, self-manage, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENTS (level of functional responsibility, relationships, level of direction received, and ability to initiate work):
Primary direction received from Team Manager. The Team Leader must be proactive and independent in warehouse responsibilities and collaborative within department and with other departments/locations in resolving warehouse concerns.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Safety: Participate in all required safety training.
Quality: Claims Reduction.
Delivery: Receipt on time, Make on time, Pack on time.
Cost: Maintain positive cost flex.
KEY COMPETENCIES NEEDED
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION DESIRED
Education (degree or years) and/or Certification/Registration: High School Diploma or GED.
Type and Length of Experience:
2 - 4 years previous warehouse logistics experience required.
2 - 4 years previous material handling equipment experience required.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Ability to lift 45 pounds occasionally.
Certified Equipment operation (Forklift, Order Picker).
Ability to stand for majority of the work day.
Some hazardous material handling required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (i.e., travel, motor vehicle use, etc.): Other responsibilities as assigned.
