Job summary

Float Health is an on-demand nursing platform that connects experienced nurses with patients who need in-home specialty medication administration. As a Float Health nurse, you will provide one-on-one infusion care in patients' homes and choose visits that fit your location and schedule.

This independent contractor role offers flexible hours with no minimum commitment, opportunities to work in home infusion, infusion centers, oncology, or critical care, and the ability to apply your IV skills

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding.
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience.

Responsibilities

• Administering IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies.
• Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs.
• Monitoring patients throughout treatment.
• Providing patient education and support.
• Delivering safe, efficient, compassionate nursing care.
