Description of the role:

The Lifeguard position at Mohican Lodge in Perrysville, Ohio plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests in and around the swimming pool area. The Lifeguard is responsible for monitoring the pool and enforcing safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Additionally, they may assist with pool maintenance tasks and provide exceptional customer service to guests. Pool season operates Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. If you are not currently certified, we will reimburse for your certification.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the swimming pool area to ensure the safety of all guests
• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations
• Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed
• Assist with pool maintenance tasks, such as cleaning
• Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or questions

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Valid lifeguard certification
• Strong swimming skills
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
