DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Latin America. In this role you will primarily be working on building CI/CD pipelines for a Cloud based SaaS product (hosted on Azure Kubernetes cluster). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join an established team with a fun culture, where there is opportunity for growth and mentorship. You will also be working on an exciting 3PL product from scratch with the latest technology stack.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist daily with multiple projects and PoC work using established runbooks and CLI
• Get data from REST APIs and build CI/CD automation pipelines based on the results
• Perform and execute tasks with CLI commands for daily support operations
• Build out deployment pipelines and troubleshoot issues using GitHub pipelines, Helm, Argo and Terraform
• Work with Kafka for operational support
• Deploy components using Kubernetes Custom Resources and Operators from 3rd party vendors including establishing data connections, exposing services in a secure way, and managing secrets
• Develop and troubleshoot Kubernetes/Helm/Argo/Terraform for team and 3rd party software
• Deploy and test multiple pieces of software to Kubernetes for Proof-of-Concept efforts
• Read and write shell scripts
• Script automation for proving out PoC work and validating success in multiple forms including UI and API capabilities

• Full Professional English proficiency is required
• Kubernetes, Helm, and Argo expertise regarding building and troubleshooting deployments required
• Expert level with Terraform
• Ability to read and navigate code
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker and Kubernetes), including code, run times and system tools
• Ability to participate in and contribute to code management in GitHub including actively collaborating in peer-reviews, feature branches, and resolving conflicts and commits
• Experience reading and writing shell scripts
• Experience with CLI and the ability to write scripts that pull data from REST APIs
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (Azure preferred)

• Microservices experience
• Exposure to Kafka for operational support
• New Relic or Prometheus/Grafana
• Azure Event Hubs a bonus, but not required
• Exposure to NodeJS
