Job summary

AspenView Technology Partners, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Detection Engineering Lead to own detection engineering for a large US lender. This on-site role is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with coordination across Bogotá and Medellín.

You will lead the Detection Engineer, set priorities, review rules, and present coverage to the client's security leadership. Responsibilities include end-to-end detection lifecycle, pipeline health, and detecting as code with version control.

Qualifications

• 8+ years writing and tuning detections in production on a SIEM or analytics platform.
• Ability to explain the reasoning behind a rule you shipped.
• Solid understanding of log pipelines and data flow between source and alert.

Responsibilities

• Own the detection inventory end to end with clear owners.
• Prioritize detection work based on threat intel, hunts, incidents and feedback.
• Build identity-centric detections on Okta and custom detections in CrowdStrike and Defender; provide MITRE ATT&CK coverage.
