The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality, predictability, and efficiency of project and portfolio delivery across the organization. This role operates at a transversal level, overseeing delivery execution standards, improving operational processes, and ensuring alignment between teams, Project Managers, and client expectations.
Working closely with Project Managers, Tech Leads, Talent teams, and stakeholders, the Delivery Manager plays a key role in building high-performing delivery organizations that operate with autonomy, accountability, and strong execution discipline. Success in this role means maintaining delivery excellence, proactively mitigating risks, improving operational efficiency, and fostering continuous improvement across projects and teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful execution of projects and portfolios, maintaining alignment with timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Monitor delivery health across teams and initiatives to identify risks, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Define, implement, and maintain delivery standards, methodologies, and operational best practices.
- Promote continuous improvement across delivery workflows, project governance, and operational processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers through coaching, feedback, performance evaluations, and growth plans.
- Define and monitor delivery KPIs including planning accuracy, timeline compliance, delivery quality, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and clients to validate service perception, ensure transparency, and proactively address concerns.
- Intervene in critical projects when necessary, leading issue resolution and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with Tech Leads, Talent, and People teams to ensure teams are properly staffed and aligned with business needs.
- Support strategic planning and delivery governance initiatives to improve scalability and predictability across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the software industry with a strong technical background.
- Proven experience leading complex projects and managing Project Managers or similar leadership roles.
- Advanced knowledge of project management and portfolio management practices.
- Strong experience working with delivery metrics and data-driven operational management.
- Experience with Agile methodologies; PMP or Scrum certifications are considered a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including interaction with senior clients and business leaders.
- Advanced English level (C1/C2).
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

- Strong decision-making capabilities when operating with incomplete information.

- Knowledge of delivery forecasting, resource planning, and operational performance optimization.
