GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead product strategy and backlog prioritization within a fast-paced software environment. You will define requirements, work with customers and internal teams, and drive features from concept to launch.

You will partner with development, design, and QA to ensure delivery aligns with market needs, usability, and quality metrics, while adapting to changing priorities and market trends.

Formación

• Experience in product management or related tech roles.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and Scrum.
• Proven track record delivering software products end-to-end.
• Experience with product management techniques (MoSCoW, Kano).
• Knowledge of market research, user-centered design, and analytics.
• Able to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders.

Descripción del empleo

• Previous experience in product management, product ownership, or a related role in software development or technology
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working in agile teams
• Proven track record of delivering successful software products or features from concept to launch, preferably in a fast-paced, iterative development environment
• Experience with product management tools and techniques, such as user story mapping, backlog grooming, and prioritization techniques (e.g., MoSCoW, Kano model)
• Knowledge of product management best practices, including market research, user-centered design, and product analytics
• Familiarity with software development processes and technologies, allowing effective collaboration with development teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and negotiate priorities with stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to make data-driven decisions
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and market conditions, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations
• Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset and a desire to deliver products that meet and exceed user needs and expectations.

Job responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product backlog based on stakeholder input, market research, and business objectives, ensuring alignment with the product vision and strategy
• Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, users, and internal teams, to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and incorporate input into the product roadmap
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and QA, to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans for each iteration or sprint
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most valuable and high-priority items that deliver maximum business value
• Provide guidance and direction to the development team throughout the development process, including clarifying requirements, resolving ambiguities, and making trade-off decisions
• Act as the voice of the customer and the end user, advocating for their needs and ensuring that the product meets their expectations in terms of functionality, usability, and quality
• Monitor and analyze key metrics and feedback from users to evaluate the success of product features and identify opportunities for improvement or iteration
• Communicate project status, progress, and priorities to stakeholders through regular meetings, demos, and status reports, and address any concerns or issues as they arise
• Adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and market conditions by reprioritizing the backlog and adjusting the product roadmap as needed to maximize value delivery
• Continuously engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and refine the product vision and strategy based on market trends and customer needs
• Foster a collaborative and transparent team culture, encouraging open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the product development lifecycle.
