AgileEngine is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data pipelines on the Databricks platform. You will architect solutions, write high-quality code, and maintain robust data systems for enterprise needs, collaborating with distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Databricks, Unity Catalog, and cloud-native architectures while applying software engineering best practices and DevSecOps principles to deliver reliable, scalable data

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience in commercial applications.
• Experience with the Databricks platform, Unity Catalog, notebooks, and pipelines.
• Experience administering RDS Postgres and Aurora; knowledge of SQL Server.
• Strong cloud skills (AWS, serverless, microservices, CI/CD, IaC) and modern tech.
• Solid software engineering practices across the full SDLC; code reviews and operations.
• Proven track record in Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps in distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, and deliver high-quality code independently following best practices.
• Design decisions and trade-offs with reasoning.
• Diagnose and fix production issues.
• Communicate with the development lead to raise issues and anticipate barriers.
• Build enterprise applications at scale with CS fundamentals.
• Develop scalable, highly available components with front-end and back-end architectures.
• Seek empirical evidence through proofs of concept, tests, and external research.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
