AgileEngine, LLC. is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data pipelines on the Databricks platform. You will architect and deliver high-quality code, create notebooks and pipelines, and collaborate with teams to ensure reliable data flows and security in a cloud-native environment.

The role emphasizes Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps, and strong SQL/database administration skills, with competitive USD-based compensation and opportunities for growth.

Formación

• 3 years of software development experience with commercial apps or equivalent.
• Experience with the Databricks platform and Unity Catalog.
• Experience administering RDS Postgres and Aurora; knowledge of SQL Server.
• Cloud technologies including AWS, Serverless, microservices, CI/CD, IaC.
• Software engineering lifecycle practices including design patterns and reviews.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps within distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, and deliver high-quality code independently.
• Make well-reasoned design decisions and trade-offs.
• Diagnose and fix production issues.
• Communicate with the lead to raise issues early and mitigate barriers.
• Build scalable, enterprise-grade applications and architectures.
• Develop scalable components with strong frontend and backend knowledge.
• Seek evidence through proofs of concept, tests, and external research.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
