Prometeo Talent is partnering with a U.S.-based company to hire a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) for a 100% remote role in LATAM. The ideal candidate will leverage SQL and Python to transform large consumer datasets into actionable insights, building ML models and dashboards for stakeholders in English.

The position welcomes a range of experience levels from recent graduates to mid-level analysts, with strong quantitative backgrounds and data manipulation skills.

Formación

• 0–4 years of experience in Data Analysis or similar roles.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills with JOIN, aggregations, and CASE WHEN.
• Python scripting for data cleaning and processing, with pandas.
• Familiarity with scikit-learn or statsmodels for predictive/statistical models.
• Experience handling messy text fields and pattern matching.
• Knowledge of relational database design and data normalization.
• Bachelor's degree as listed in the qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Write, optimize, and run SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud warehouses.
• Develop and validate ML, predictive, or statistical models to forecast trends.
• Slice and aggregate data to compute core metrics like market share and purchasing trends.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and views for reports and dashboards.
• Review outputs, audit data, and ensure accuracy before insights.
• Segment data using conditional logic to analyze cohorts.
• Parse and categorize unstructured text data.
• Translate results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
