Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports, turning large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams. You will develop scalable visualizations and ensure data accuracy across projects.

You will work with SQL, Tableau, Python, and AI coding tools, collaborate with remote teams using GitHub, Slack, and JIRA, and own data quality from source to storytelling to drive strategic decisions and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development experience; experience writing and optimizing SQL queries across large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience, including hands-on experience maintaining existing Tableau models and/or migrating them to Streamlit.
• Prior hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code or Cursor).
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for ad-hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate existing data models and calculations.
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (GitHub, Slack, JIRA).
• 2+ years of Snowflake development experience.

• Bring an operational mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
• Take full ownership and persevere through every challenge with consistent energy, regardless of complexity.
• Maintain a deep sense of quality and attention to detail.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of SQL development experience ; experience writing and optimizing SQL queries across large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience , including hands‑on experience maintaining existing Tableau models and/or migrating them to Streamlit.
• Prior hands‑on Python development experience (prioritized over Snowflake where only one can be prioritized).
• Prior practical, hands‑on experience using AI coding tools, specifically Claude Code or Cursor , across coding, SQL, analysis, testing, and research; familiarity or a willingness to learn alone is not sufficient, as these are the primary tools used by the team.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Spreadsheets for running ad‑hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate existing data models and calculations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Experience working in an environment that leverages remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, JIRA).

• 2+ years of Snowflake development experience.
