Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams. You will develop dashboards, analyze trends, and identify data sources to ensure reliable insights while interacting with customers to gather requirements.

You will work with Tableau, Python, Excel, and AI coding tools in a remote-friendly environment, contributing to data processes, models, and documentation with a focus

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development experience with large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience; maintain/migrate models.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience using AI coding tools Claude Code or Cursor across coding tasks.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for ad-hoc analysis.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data pipelines.
• Ability to validate data models and calculations for reporting accuracy.
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (GitHub, Slack, JIRA).
• Upper-intermediate English level.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of SQL development experience; experience writing and optimizing SQL queries across large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience, including hands-on experience maintaining existing Tableau models and/or migrating them to Streamlit.
• Prior hands-on Python development experience (prioritized over Snowflake where only one can be prioritized).
• Prior practical, hands-on experience using AI coding tools, specifically Claude Code or Cursor, across coding, SQL, analysis, testing, and research; familiarity or a willingness to learn alone is not sufficient, as these are the primary tools used by the team.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Spreadsheets for running ad-hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate existing data models and calculations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Experience working in an environment that leverages remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, JIRA).
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• 2+ years of Snowflake development experience.
