Job summary

Promtior is seeking a Data Lead to head the Data team within Engineering. You will define the technical direction for data engineering and data science across client projects, grow the team, and stay hands-on to review designs and unblock production issues.

You will own architecture from ingestion and Lakehouse design to curated datasets feeding analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases. You will mentor engineers and shape AI tool usage to accelerate data discovery and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering/architecture/science, with 3+ years leading a data team.
• Proven design/operation of data platforms end-to-end.
• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake and Lakehouse architectures.
• Advanced Python and SQL for large-scale processing.
• Strong relational/data warehousing modeling skills.
• ETL/ELT design with orchestration tools (Airflow/dbt).
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with ML lifecycle data support.
• Ability to communicate architecture and risks to clients.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the data team's technical vision and standards.
• Own data platform architectures from ingestion to analytics-ready datasets.

• Lead delivery quality across client projects and pre-sales discovery.
• Mentor and develop the team through code/design reviews.
