AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Mid-level Data Engineer in Santiago del Estero, Argentina to build and maintain dbt pipelines and Snowflake data marts behind customer-facing reporting and analytics features.

The role requires hands-on dbt, Airbyte/Prefect, SQL and Python, and a focus on data modeling, CI/CD, and data quality. Flexible remote/office options are offered to support collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering on production pipelines.
• Solid dbt experience: modeling, tests, macros, incremental models.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Data modeling fundamentals: dimensional modeling and data marts.
• Experience with a modern cloud warehouse (Snowflake).
• Experience with ingestion/orchestration tools (Airbyte, Prefect).
• Familiarity with guardrails for analytics code and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt pipelines, data marts, and warehouse models for reporting, spend analytics, AI features, and internal analytics.
• Translate complex business logic into reliable, tested pipeline code.
• Develop models within data mart architecture and propose improvements.
• Contribute to the semantic layer used by MCP servers and AI agents.
• Maintain boundary between PII and reporting-safe data.
• Build and maintain FastAPI services exposing reporting marts.
• Ingest data via Airbyte, OneSchema, S3 and support Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Implement data quality checks and alerting to surface issues early.
• Document lineage and ensure consistency of metrics and dimensions.
