Zeal IT Consultants is seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to design, build, and optimize modern data platforms. You will develop scalable data pipelines on Databricks and AWS, collaborating with data architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data products.

Experience with Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, and lakehouse architectures is essential. Databricks certifications are highly preferred, and strong SQL with Python or Scala is required.

Formación

• 4–6 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Experience building data pipelines on AWS.
• Experience with Unity Catalog for data governance and access management.
• Experience using Lakeflow for data orchestration and pipeline development.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency with Python or Scala.
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with Spark and distributed data processing.
• Experience working with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Databricks.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows on AWS.
• Implement and manage data governance using Unity Catalog.
• Build and orchestrate data workflows using Lakeflow.
• Optimize data models and processing performance for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver trusted data products.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production data issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Work in Agile teams and collaborate across technical and business stakeholders.
