Enroute is seeking a Data Engineer - Data Conversions to join a high-impact engineering team. You will migrate policy data from administration systems to a modern policy platform, deeply analyze data, and build mappings to move legacy data into the target format.

You will use AI tooling daily for efficiency and participate in an end-to-end data migration lifecycle. The role emphasizes data accuracy, collaboration with a conversion manager, and adaptability to learn the team's conversion

Formación

• Strong command of SQL; write complex queries to analyze, trace, and transform data.
• Proficiency with SQL Server: views, stored procedures, CTEs, window functions.
• Experience with ETL processes and data migrations.
• Build source-to-target data mappings and transformation logic.
• Data validation and cleansing best practices are a must.
• Cloud database experience with AWS (RDS, S3, Secrets Manager).
• Excel for data analysis and legacy data review.
• GitHub / version control and Jira for project tracking.
• Familiarity with Agile (Kanban/Scrum) workflows.
• Awareness of PII handling and data security requirements.
• Experience using AI coding assistants for development workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate insurance policy data from legacy systems to a modern policy platform.
• Deep-dive into data, trace and reconcile across multiple layers and files.
• Design mappings and transformations to load validated data.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues for validated loads.
• Collaborate with the conversion manager through the full migration lifecycle.
