EPAM Systems seeks a Data Delivery Manager to lead solution delivery across accounts and ensure top technical standards. You will manage client relationships and governance of delivery processes, coordinating diverse teams to deliver data projects and build lasting partnerships.

Responsibilities include overseeing delivery, resource planning, architectural leadership, risk management, and mentoring delivery managers while aligning with EPAM’s Agile practices.

Formación

• 10+ years delivering Data & Analytics, Big Data, DW and BI projects.
• Strong data engineering and data platform knowledge.
• Hands-on with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, etc.
• Programming in Python, Scala or Java for data tasks.
• Experience with SQL, building and maintaining Big Data solutions in cloud.
• Knowledge of data architecture and software delivery cycles.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent client management and English communication skills.

We are seeking a Data Delivery Manager to lead comprehensive solution delivery and ensure top technical standards across assigned accounts.

The role requires strong client relationship management and governance of delivery processes. You will work with diverse teams to deliver successful data projects and build lasting client partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of solution delivery for specified accounts as the accountable lead
• Maintain governance of delivery and production activities based on the selected delivery approach
• Manage resource allocation to match required skills and seniority with delivery plans
• Drive technical leadership by planning sustainable architectures and ensuring quality
• Facilitate teamwork among different disciplines and stakeholders
• Establish and grow long‑term client relationships
• Handle client issues and mitigate engagement risks
• Lead preparation of customer proposals and statements of work
• Ensure projects adhere to EPAM’s methodologies with focus on agile
• Ensure client responsibilities are met within engagements
• Develop delivery schedules including time, quality, and resource estimates
• Apply continuous risk management strategies to support decision-making
• Track and improve delivery productivity
• Support sales bids by providing technical and managerial input
• Coach and mentor delivery managers
• Engage with the EPAM delivery management community

Requirements

• Proven experience (10+ years) in delivering Data and Analytics, Big Data, Data Warehousing, and BI projects with relevant technological expertise
• Strong understanding of data engineering challenges and data platform engineering including batch and streaming
• Hands-on knowledge of Big Data technology stacks such as Hadoop, Yarn, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Kafka
• Background in Python, Scala, or Java programming, including data mining, predictive analytics, and machine learning
• Experience with SQL, building and maintaining Big Data solutions, and cloud data technologies
• Knowledge of data architecture and software delivery cycles
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools
• Understanding of classical analytics methods and theories
• Experience with various delivery methodologies, especially agile
• Awareness of data security challenges
• Experience with leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing on-prem to cloud migrations
• Strong presentation skills for different audience sizes
• Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment
• Excellent client management skills and C1‑level English communication
