Jobtailor is seeking a data-focused engineer to drive the migration of Power BI dashboards to migrated DataLake views. You will ensure data integrity across millions of records while validating complex metrics and data lineage.

The role emphasizes advanced DAX, SQL, and Databricks expertise, with automation using AI tools to optimize data engineering workflows and support a banking-critical project.

Formación

• Experience developing and configuring in Unity Catalog and SQL Editor, with solid knowledge of Databricks.
• Advanced Power BI data modeling, including complex DAX, and business logic design.
• Strong SQL skills and advanced query logic for complex sources.
• Demonstrated autonomy and proactivity to operate independently against complex data sources under defined deadlines.
• Previous experience in business-critical (mission-critical) data migration projects (nice to have).
• Experience validating large-scale volumetric data between source and destination systems (nice to have).
• Experience working under tight, deadline-driven project timelines (nice to have).

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the technical migration, replacing the sources that feed current Power BI dashboards with new migrated Datalake views.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency by validating row counts and volumes between source systems and Power BI reports.
• Validate and cross-check highly sensitive, business-critical metrics, including data covering millions of users and figures tied to variable compensation.
• Design and optimize complex logic and DAX queries, avoiding simple schema copies and ensuring robust business-critical platforms.
• Collaborate with technical support and dashboard design profiles to deliver robust, visually polished outputs.
• Work on a challenging project for a leading bank.
• Use GitHub Copilot and AI agents as everyday tools.
• Bring LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents into Data+, Muttdata's internal data platform, to automate Data Engineering and operational tasks
