Intel 471 is seeking a Cyber Threat Researcher to track financially motivated cyber threat actors and provide intelligence on their activities for leading security teams. The role supports a remote, Europe or LATAM-friendly setup, offering a flexible schedule and a dynamic team environment.

Formación

• In-depth understanding of cyber threat landscape, actors, goals, tools and campaigns.
• Experience monitoring cybercrime underground, restricted-access forums, marketplaces and IM channels.
• Strong OPSEC and persona development experience in cybercrime environments.
• Hands-on vHUMINT collection: persona creation and management in cybercrime contexts.
• Technical skills in malware analysis, exploits and vulnerabilities are a plus.
• Able to work independently within a close-knit team on proactive research with limited direction.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify knowledge gaps and develop intelligence leads to satisfy customer collection requirements.
• Monitor underground sources to uncover motivations, targets, and modus operandi of actors.
• Proactively track financially-motivated cyber threat actors and attribution efforts.
• Collaborate on projects related to cybercrime infrastructure, malware campaigns, and data repatriation.
• Communicate findings and assessments clearly in English reports.
• Respond to RFIs and ad-hoc requests from internal teams.
