Overseas, a fast-growing video production company, is seeking a Creative Designer (Static and Motion) to own design output across static and motion assets, including thumbnails, social graphics, and motion graphics. This role emphasizes design excellence within a video-first brand.

You should have a strong portfolio, be fluent in visual storytelling, and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects). 100% remote, full-time, with availability during US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Design high‑quality static assets including thumbnails, social graphics, presentations, and brand collateral across digital platforms.
• Work within brand systems while applying genuine creative judgment to briefs.
• Resize and adapt assets across formats and placements efficiently and accurately.
• Create motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, transitions, and other video‑adjacent design elements, iterating on feedback from the production team.
• Collaborate with video producers, editors, and creative leads to integrate design into video output.
• Contribute creative ideas at the brief stage, not just execution of handed tasks.
• Organize project files with clean structure, version control, and deliver assets in correct formats.

Our client is a fast-growing video production company with high creative standards and a strong visual identity. They produce video at a high level and need design that matches the creative bar of a video-first brand.

About the Role

We're looking for a Creative Designer (Static and Motion) to own design output across static and motion assets, creating graphics, thumbnails, social media content, and motion graphics. Design is the primary focus, and motion is a strong plus.

This role is for someone with a genuinely strong creative eye, not just technical execution skills. You should understand how good design works in a video and motion context, including pacing, hierarchy, and visual storytelling, even if motion isn't your primary specialty. If you have a strong static design portfolio and can produce polished, high-quality creative across multiple formats independently, this role is a strong fit.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality static assets including thumbnails, social media graphics, presentation decks, and brand collateral that are polished, on-brand, and built to perform across digital platforms
• Work within brand systems while bringing genuine creative judgment to every brief
• Resize and adapt assets across formats and placements efficiently and accurately
• Create motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, transitions, and other video-adjacent design elements, iterating on feedback from the production team
• Collaborate with video producers, editors, and creative leads so design assets integrate seamlessly into video output
• Contribute creative ideas and visual concepts at the brief stage rather than only executing what is handed to you
• Organize project files and finished assets with clean structure, version control, and deliver them in the correct formats for each use case
• Communicate proactively on timelines and flag brief gaps before they delay delivery

What We're Looking For

• Proven creative design experience with a strong portfolio of finished static work, including thumbnails, social graphics, brand assets, and digital content

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects

Nice to Have

• Hands-on motion graphics experience, including animated titles, lower thirds, and video-integrated design
• Experience designing for a video production company, media brand, or content-first creative team
• Familiarity with Figma or other design collaboration tools
• Background in YouTube thumbnail design or social video creative
