Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a Convention Services Manager in Santa Fe to drive coordination for group and catering business. You will conduct site inspections, present to clients, create and manage contracts, and maintain strong client relationships across departments.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in a similar role, strong negotiation and communication skills, and availability for varied schedules including nights and weekends.

Formación

• 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal, sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience in convention services planning or related market preferred.
• Prior Marriott brand knowledge a plus.
• Willing to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Responds in a timely manner to incoming group/catering business opportunities.
• Ensures that all business is booked within hotel parameters.
• Conducts hotel site inspections and client presentations.
• Create contracts and related booking docs; manage client account files.
• Prospect for new business; participate in sales blitzes and industry events.
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships.
• Detail events: food & beverage, setup, AV needs; ask questions and suggest details.
• Create group resumes and communicate client needs to hotel departments.
• Use negotiating skills to close on business and negotiate contracts.
