Overview

Total Number of Openings: 5. Manages the company's accounting services and processes. This Job Category includes accounting positions embedded in BUs, in Corporate Departments, and GBS. Supports larger partners and may lead functional projects under infrequent supervision. Developing a detailed knowledge of the work function.

The position will:

  • Ensure integrity of company-wide financial information through appropriate accounting and internal control policies, systems, and procedures
  • Provide relevant, timely, and cost-effective financial statement reporting, analysis, and decision-making support.

The Controllers Team is in Buenos Aires and is part of the Finance Planning & Support Department.

Senior Controllers Analyst responsibilities
  • Consolidating corporate financial statements and developing monthly management reporting and analysis of the Company's financial and operating results.
  • Preparing external financial reports provided to shareholders, the Securities and Exchange Commission, other government agencies, creditors, outside analysts, and the public.
  • Providing financial analytical support, including competitor analysis.
  • Ensuring the integrity of financial data in corporate systems and corporate interfaces with operating company systems.
  • Consolidating corporate level tax adjustments and developing monthly management reporting and analysis, specifically around the impact to the Company's US tax provision
  • Providing ongoing tax accounting technical support and guidance to various functions within the organization
  • Providing expertise and leadership to strengthen internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Supporting strategic reinvestments in technology that accelerate the pace of efficiency and modernization of our Finance work processes by:

Expanding the use of digital tools to drive insight and business value. Building specialized digital skill sets. Monitoring the digital landscape for opportunities to expand the use of digital tools. Supporting Enterprise initiatives focused on transitioning our ERP systems to SAP S4HANA. Aligning with the IT Platform concept to ensure digital efforts fully leverage enterprise IT and business resources.

Required skills

Soft:

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to analyze data and provide insightful analysis that illustrates key cause and effect, business, and value drivers. Demonstrated abilities managing data with Excel and database applications. Ability to relate financial results to operational events and applicable business model.
  • Communication. Ability to effectively interact with team members and/or management, providing clear, logical recommendations in a concise manner, to either internal or external stakeholders. Ability to synthesize complex topics and present them to the audience at the appropriate level.
  • Leadership & Initiative. Demonstrated ability to articulate goals, encourage others to follow, champion issues and effectively engage, mobilize, and influence organizations or teams, with or without direct performance management responsibilities. Demonstrated persistence in driving progress on department initiatives and consistently seeking to broaden the scope of their role.

Technical:

  • +10 years of experience in Controllers organizations, leading MEC activities and monthly reporting cycles.
  • Advanced English level, as you will maintain daily communication with key partners.
  • MS 365 knowledge (i.e., Power Query, Power BI, PowerApps)
