Basic Purpose:

Prepare food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to guest orders, adhering to production requirements and quality standards, while maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.

Essential Functions:
  1. Prepare food according to customer orders with consistent quality following recipes, production standards, portion sizes, and presentation; complete setup and station preparation for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service. (40%)
  2. Begin preparing food in advance, ensuring not to exceed estimated needs. (20%)
  3. Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment including fryers, grills, stoves, steamers, food processors, mixers, slicers, ovens, steam tables, tilt kettles, waffle irons, and flat grills. (10%)
  4. Date all food containers and rotate according to policies, ensuring all perishable products are kept at appropriate temperatures; verify batches for use during the shift, determine necessary preparations, remove from freezer, and line up for service; record any out-of-stock or potential shortages; return unused food to designated storage areas, ensuring all perishables are covered and dated; assist in planning and implementing corrective actions for food cost issues; control waste, loss, and food usage according to policies. (10%)
  5. Comply with Four Seasons' work standards and conduct policies as outlined in EmPact. (10%)
  6. Work harmoniously and professionally with colleagues and supervisors. (10%)
