We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Collibra Developer to join our Data Governance team and play a vital role in enhancing our enterprise data governance solutions.
This position involves developing, customizing, and maintaining the Collibra platform, as well as creating integrations with other data systems to support organizational data governance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom workflows, interfaces, and business rules using scripting languages like Groovy and Collibra's workflow engine
- Configure the Collibra platform to align with business requirements, including forms and user interfaces
- Create integrations between Collibra and data tools (e.g., data lineage tools, data quality solutions)
- Implement validation rules and business logic within the Collibra platform
- Design and maintain integrations with systems using RESTful APIs and ETL tools
- Ensure stable data lineage integrations to monitor data flow across internal systems and sources
- Monitor the Collibra platform for performance and stability and troubleshoot technical issues
- Manage upgrades and execute maintenance tasks on the Collibra platform
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to Data Governance teams and end-users
- Translate business needs into technical solutions in collaboration with Data Governance Analysts
- Document technical designs, workflows, and methods for platform enhancements
- Contribute to defining data governance standards and ensuring compliance with policies
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with the Collibra Data Governance platform
- Knowledge of data governance methodologies or principles
- Expertise in RESTful APIs and services-driven architectures
- Knowledge of database technologies like SQL and relational database concepts
- Combined experience or understanding in data modeling, catalog tools, or data lineage tracking
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage
- Exposure to version control and repository systems, specifically Git
