Cognizant is seeking a Software Engineer (C++ / Python) to join our Code Review team. You will ensure high-quality, reliable, and efficient code across large-scale systems, including AI-generated code, working with developers, reviewers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

The role emphasizes reviewing changes for correctness, performance, and readability, providing actionable feedback, and upholding coding standards and testing practices in a hybrid office-based arrangement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ and Python (strongly preferred).
• Experience in code reviews focusing on quality, scalability, and standards.
• Experience reviewing AI-generated code and identifying issues.
• Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and fuzz testing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English level: Upper Intermediate or above.
• Excellent written communication with concise, constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate code changes (CLs), including AI-generated code, for correctness, performance, readability, and alignment with best practices
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve code quality and maintainability
• Collaborate with engineering teams to uphold coding standards and testing practices
• Support continuous improvement of code review processes and tooling
