Job summary

Cognizant Argentina is seeking a Software Engineer (C++/Python) focused on code review to ensure high-quality, maintainable changes across large systems, including AI-generated code. You will collaborate with developers, reviewers, and stakeholders to uphold standards and performance.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week in the Cognizant office, with standard hours Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 (local).

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ and Python is required, strong code review experience.
• Experience reviewing AI-generated code for correctness and performance.
• Solid understanding of unit and integration testing concepts.
• English level: Upper Intermediate or above with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate code changes (CLs), including AI-generated code, for correctness, performance, readability, and standards.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Analyze AI-generated code changes to identify risks, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to uphold coding standards and testing practices.
• Support continuous improvement of code review processes and tooling.
