Job summary

Mikroways seeks a Security Specialist Ssr to join our cybersecurity team. The role focuses on offensive security across cloud environments, including AWS, Kubernetes and microservices, with reporting on risk and remediation strategies.

The ideal candidate will perform penetration tests on web apps and APIs, identify vulnerabilities, and collaborate with DevOps and development teams to raise the security posture across architectural layers.

Qualifications

• Experience in identifying, exploiting and analyzing vulnerabilities.
• Strong understanding of technical and business impact of risks.
• Experience in performing penetration testing on web apps and APIs.
• Familiar with OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10; testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute penetration tests on web applications and APIs (black/grey/white-box).
• Identify vulnerabilities in cloud deployments and architectures.
• Assess workloads in AWS including IAM, networks and service exposure.
• Analyze attack vectors in microservices, containers and Kubernetes.
• Prepare technical and executive risk-based reports with remediation plans.
• Collaborate with DevOps, architecture and development teams to improve security.
