The opportunity: The IT Risk Management (ITRM) function creates and maintains EY Technologies’ risk management framework, processes, tooling, and strategy. Our primary objectives within our team are to enable Information Security to build a risk-aware culture, reduce IT risk, defend against internal and external threats, and protect client and EY data. Your key responsibilities:

1. Provide technical expertise on maintaining resiliency and redundancy within various cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.)
2. Assist with managing and remediating business continuity related risks for the cloud platform
3. Support activities to maintain Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and BC/DR compliance for the cloud platform within CT
4. Develop, maintain, and test business continuity plans for the cloud platform within CT
5. Identify improvement opportunities for the BCM processes within the cloud platform
6. Provide business continuity cloud training and awareness sessions to business and technical teams
7. Collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain day-to-day BCM program activities within the cloud platform

1. Technical capabilities across various cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.)
2. Understanding of business continuity concepts and technologies
3. Ability to communicate appropriately and clearly with executive leadership
4. Proactive in solving problems and improving processes
5. Knowledge in identifying and appropriately addressing IT-related risks
6. Project management skills

To qualify for the role, you must have:

1. Understanding of IT risk management, preferably in a multinational environment
2. Flexibility to balance multiple work streams and adjust to multiple demands in a dynamic environment to meet overall objectives
3. Understanding of cultural differences and the ability to work well with cross-cultural teams across the globe
4. Ability to communicate risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
5. Creativity to analyze and solve complex problems
6. Professionalism to work independently to accomplish defined goals
7. Strong English language skills: excellent writing and presentation skills are required

Required Experience:

1. 3-5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Information Technology, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, IT Risk Management, Cloud Technology, or similar role.
2. An advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
3. One or more of the following or equivalent certifications: BCI Certification (Business Continuity Institute - AMBCI, MBCI), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Microsoft Azure Certification.

Preferred Experience:

1. Technical knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.)
2. Disaster recovery and IT resiliency in MS Azure Cloud environment
3. Project management methodologies and Service delivery - preferably service transition.
4. Familiarity with local and regional regulatory requirements and how they impact IT policies
5. Appreciation of the benefits of appropriate internal controls and risk management
6. Experience with RSA Archer
