Job summary

Chevron's Global Business Services - Buenos Aires invites interns to join the BASSC Contracting team in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires. The program provides exposure to supplier registration, due diligence, e-Order tracking, and contract administration across multiple regions.

Interns will work 20 hours per week for 12 months, with a potential extension of 6 more months. Location is Puerto Madero, CABA, Argentina.

Qualifications

• Currently a 3rd-year student in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or Law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office software.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier registration and due diligence processes.
• Track e-Orders and confirm supplier acceptance.
• Support contract planning with analytical input.
• Prepare performance reports and contract portfolio administration.
• Assist internal users in contracting workflows.
• Maintain documents in SharePoint and update catalogs.
• Assist with tenders, validate offers, and analyze bids.
• Monitor and follow up on invoices and payments.
• Price analysis and contract finalization checks.

The selected candidates will join the BASSC Contracting team.

Your Initial Responsibilities Will Include

• Supplier registration management and Supplier Due Diligence.
• e-Order tracking and supplier acceptance confirmation.
• Analytical support for contract planning.
• Preparation of performance reports.
• Electronic administration of the contract portfolio.
• Assistance to the internal user in the management and contracting process.
• Follow-up and control of Sector procedures.
• Maintenance and organization of documents in SharePoint.
• Catalog maintenance (construction of new catalogs and updating of existing ones).
• Preparation of tenders, validation, and primary analysis of offers.
• Control of contracts to be finalized.
• Follow-up of invoices / payments.
• Invoice/Payment Tracking
• Price Analysis

Interns will have the opportunity to be part of the Contract Advisors team, start understanding the role and its tasks, and their impact on the business. Additionally, they will have the chance to interact with requesters from different countries and regions, with diverse cultures and priorities.

Requirements

• Students in their 3rd year of Business Administration – Industrial Engineering – Engineering – Law or related.
• Handling of Office Package.
• Fluent in written and oral English.

Hours per week:

20 hours.

Internship duration:

12 months, with the possibility of extending for 6 more months.
