Job summary

Chevron Global Business Services - Buenos Aires (GBS BA) offers an internship in the Contracting team. The 12‑month program provides exposure to supplier registration, due diligence, e-Order tracking, reporting, and contract administration.

Interns will work 20 hours weekly in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, gaining cross-country collaboration experience and interaction with regional stakeholders while developing professional skills in procurement and contract management.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of a relevant program (Business Admin, Industrial Eng, Engineering, Law).
• Proficient with MS Office and common office tools.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier registration and due diligence.
• Track e-Order and confirm supplier acceptance.
• Prepare performance reports and contract portfolio documentation.
• Assist internal users through contracting processes.
• Maintain SharePoint documents and catalogs.
• Assists with tender preparation and offer analysis.
• Monitor invoices/payments and price analyses.

The selected candidates will join the BASSC Contracting team.

Your initial responsibilities will include:

• Supplier registration management and Supplier Due Diligence.
• e-Order tracking and supplier acceptance confirmation.
• Analytical support for contract planning.
• Preparation of performance reports.
• Electronic administration of the contract portfolio.
• Assistance to the internal user in the management and contracting process.
• Follow-up and control of Sector procedures.
• Maintenance and organization of documents in SharePoint.
• Catalog maintenance (construction of new catalogs and updating of existing ones).
• Preparation of tenders, validation, and primary analysis of offers.
• Control of contracts to be finalized.
• Follow-up of invoices / payments.
• Invoice/Payment Tracking
• Price Analysis

Interns will have the opportunity to be part of the Contract Advisors team, start understanding the role and its tasks, and their impact on the business. Additionally, they will have the chance to interact with requesters from different countries and regions, with diverse cultures and priorities.

Requirements

• Students in their 3rd year of Business Administration – Industrial Engineering – Engineering – Law or related.
• Handling of Office Package.
• Fluent in written and oral English.

Hours per week: 20 hours.

Internship duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extending for 6 more months.
