Kidango is seeking dedicated staff to assist in planning, preparing, and implementing daily lessons aligned with early childhood goals. You will supervise children, prepare materials, and engage learners in a nurturing environment.

You will support diverse learning needs, communicate with families, and help maintain health and safety standards while collaborating with teammates and volunteers.

Formación

• GED/HS Diploma.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Prior experience in working with young children is preferred.
• Immunization records that comply with Senate Bill 792.
• Must be a mandated abuse reporter.
• Able to work within Kidango's core hours and a flexible schedule.
• 6 ECE units required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in planning, preparing, and implementing the daily lessons and activities aligned with early childhood development goals.
• Assists in planning and preparing the learning environment, and preparing needed materials and supplies.
• Supervises and engages children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
• Supports children with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
• Assists in the Desired Results process.
• Observes and documents child behavior and developmental progress as directed.
• Helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Assumes responsibilities for regular parent communication as directed by a supervisor.
• Assumes general responsibility for the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the agency.
• Assists with diapering, toileting, and personal care as needed.
• Supports volunteers as requested.
• Attends meetings as requested.
• Greets children, parents, staff, and guests as needed.
• Follows all licensing regulations, health, and safety protocols.
• Assists other centers when requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
