Activities:

Responsibilities include following safety, ergonomics, and quality standards and contributing to the assembly process and equipment with EPM, MPM and the extended team; supporting MPM/IPM for technical choices to improve the process; and performing technical and economic analyses of supplier offers in collaboration with the purchasing department to select the best solution, while ensuring proper documentation and transfer to the plant team.

Participates in the design and realization of assembly equipment, including:

  • Realizes functional specifications regarding project elements and standard elements
  • Validates equipment study (including supervision of FMEA), ergonomics study and the choice of possible solutions
  • Updates/adapts former feasibility study and technical choices if needed (perimeter changes)
  • Validates equipment in the supplier workshop, fine tunes the equipment in the plant and ensures smooth transfer to the plant team
  • Ensures the tuning of the equipment is properly done following instructions given by EPM/MPM, in order to converge to product conformity
  • Validates necessary documentation for each equipment
  • Analyzes results of actions plan, validation plan and risk plans

Participates in capability validation for each equipment.

Participates in lessons learned activities and productivity projects led in the assembly department.

During these activities, the job holder applies or develops an integrated management system (Quality, Environment, and Safety).
