Job summary

Ryz Labs is seeking a dynamic Backend Developer with strong Python experience to build scalable APIs and services for our core application, and to leverage modern AI tooling in fast MVP cycles.

You will integrate REST/GraphQL, work with NoSQL and relational databases, deploy to AWS, and contribute pragmatic backend solutions with clear English communication.

This role suits hands-on engineers who enjoy moving fast, solving challenging problems, and shaping the architecture of a growing product.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Python development
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with API integrations using REST and/or GraphQL
• Strong English communication (Advanced/Bilingual)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for our core application
• Integrate third-party services using REST and/or GraphQL
• Work with NoSQL and relational databases, ensuring efficient data modeling and query performance
• Collaborate with the team on deploying services to AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)
• Suggest and experiment with AI-based tooling for rapid development and smart code generation
• Bring fresh ideas and pragmatic solutions to enhance the backend architecture and development pipeline
