Kraken is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Payments & Blockchain team, focusing on payments systems and integrations. You will design and implement robust services across Kraken’s product ecosystem and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient payment workflows.

The role emphasizes writing clean backend code in Rust or Node/Typescript, debugging across the stack, and contributing to distributed systems with RPCs and Kafka.

Formación

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in writing clean, scalable backend code in a systems language (Rust or Node/Typescript).
• Demonstrated commitment to a security-first mindset when designing systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement robust services and libraries for payments integration across Kraken products.
• Write reusable, testable, and highly efficient codebase.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Frontend Engineering to ensure seamless feature integration in a large-scale distributed architecture.
• Partner closely with crypto-native engineers.
